A kindergarten teacher, a holistic therapist, a yoga teacher for children and adults (RYT 500) accr. by Yoga Alliance and CYA International, a grandmother of three, was initiated by Swami Veda Bharati and Swami Ritavan Bharati in the Himalayan Tradition since 2010. Co-ordinates the non-profit “Himalayan Yoga Meditation of Hellas” Center in Athens, Greece.

  • Sofia founded and managed the nursery school “Our school” in Glyfada, Athens, where she introduced Tai Chi converted for children.
  • Trained by Constantin Foteinas in “Minimal Movement and Meditation” and “Accompaniment” (assisting people in their final phase of earthly life), as well as “café école” method for self-awareness.
  • Since 2010 she has been initiated in the Himalayan Tradition by Swami Veda Bharati and Swami Ritavan Bharati and is a student of “Teacher Training Program (TTP) of the Association of Himalayan Yoga Meditation Societies International, AHYMSIN, in Swami Rama SadhakaGrama Ashram in Rishikesh and is certified with RYT 500 and accredited by Yoga Alliance and CYA International. She co-ordinates the non-profit organism “Himalayan Yoga Meditation of Hellas”, in Greece. She co-ordinates groups for children and adult yoga in Athens and Thessaloniki, Greece.
  • Member of the “Council of the European Grandmothers”.
  • Author of the book “Our life...a fairy tale” and of articles published in the daily press and various magazines in Greece. Translated in Greek the books: “The Night Birds” and “Kundalini, stirred or stilled” by Swami Veda Bharati.
  • She has two daughters and three grandchildren and she considers the members of her family, both men and women, as her trainers. She is dreaming of people who will feel part of the Universe and will experience a world full of love and sympathy for their fellow human beings.
